WHO WE ARE

EMMA

Born and raised in Gothenburg and known for an unwaveringly positive approach to life, Emma has approached a diverse background of roles with the same driven intensity. One of the first stops on her career ladder was at H&M where she got deeply involved in the workers union, leading her to take up human rights studies.

Emma is not a fan of the word no and her constant hunger for knowledge has seen her take up challenges across several different fields. From administration and economy at Chalmers University, to positions in the service and tourism industry, Emma eventually landed in the wonderful world of music through the medium of festivals and venues.

The last stop before Make Wave Productions was Gothenburg's 900 capacity venue Pustervik where she was spinning the production, HR and economy plates. Emma stayed at Pustervik for over 10 years along with independent ventures as tour manager in the US and Sweden.

When Emma is not in the hot seat for Make Wave, you can find her touring with her accordion troupe, organising mini festivals in her garden or banging out some of the best baked goods known to mankind.

ELAINE

Elaine arrived to Gothenburg’s shores in 2013, fresh off the boat from a jaunt across the Pacific and Indian oceans, during which she moonlighted as a first mate. Somehow this break from her career as a music publicist in Dublin ended with stars aligning and Sweden became home for best part of the next decade.

Having earned her chops with one of Dublin’s most sought after PR agencies and worked on the production teams for some of Ireland’s biggest music festivals, Elaine took her experience in the music industry and brought it a new role as event manager at Gothenburg’s most prominent music venue Pustervik, where she worked for 4 years before embarking independently with Make Wave Productions.

If she’s not at Make Wave’s Bangatan office planning world domination, you can usually find her in hot pursuit of two high energy toddlers, stealing time to work on her own music projects, or steering up some kind of mischief.

We have worked across a multitude of sectors, nationally and internationally with roots in Ireland and Sweden.

MAKE WAVE HISTORY

Since launching 4 years ago our creative collaborations have seen us working with music licensing, youtube, content ID, crowdfunding, brand development, product development, digital design, copywriting, marketing strategy, video production, event and tour production, project management and artist management.

Make Wave Production’s largest undertaking to date has been the management of the Swedish band Wintergatan. Over the course of our collaboration Wintergatan’s youtube channel grew by over 1 million subscribers, our online merchandise campaigns achieved sales of 4,000+ products in their first weeks and the unfathomable Marble Machine X was designed and constructed requiring the on-boarding and coordination of a worldwide team of engineers.

Make Wave Production’s first mission with Wintergatan was to release the original Marble Machine video in 2016; this video was viewed over 10 million times in the first 72 hrs. To date it has been viewed over 130 million times.

At Make Wave Productions we feel perfectly at home producing small scale events or larger festivals, creating content and products for global consumption, planning tours domestically and worldwide, or brainstorming creative concepts over strong coffee at our Bangatan office.

We love working with innovative and enthusiastic people on ambitious projects and we love a challenge.

Whether you are an artist, designer, producer or company with a big dream Make Wave Productions will work along side you to achieve the results, sharing the responsibility from start to finish.
